Portable version, does not require installation. Created by me on VMware Workstation 12 using the ThinApp 2212 application virtualization program.
It is advisable to place it in the root of partition C, DO NOT use a shortcut to launch it.
Run the program as administrator.
After launching the executable file, a folder is created (“sandbox” – the working environment of the program; the folder can later be deleted), but in this case, all changes in the settings will be LOST!
When starting a Tor browser build, there may be conflicts with other browsers already running on the system.
At the first launch (a sandbox folder is created), there may be a slight delay in the appearance of the browser interface.
Tested on a physical machine with OS installed: Windows 7 (x64), Windows 11 (x64) v22H2.
Automatic updates are disabled. This type of laptop created in the ThinApp program cannot be updated.
